14 December 2013 was a day of making connections, communicating ideas and breaking barriers. TEDxMAIS 2013 brought together individuals from all walks of life - including Ramachandra Guha, Krithi Karanth, Anita Reddy, Konark Reddy and Vinita Bali – to spark conversation and incite change in the way we think about almost everything, from the state of wildlife conservation in India to the evergreen teachings of MK Gandhi. In a span of four hours, both the audience and the speakers came together interact with one another in more ways than one. Whether it was the profundity of the screened talks, the engaging live speeches or the discussions during dinner, each attendee left TEDxMAIS 2013 with something unique to take home with them at the end of the night – an idea.
