“A butterfly flaps its wings in Peking, and weather in New York is different.” –Dr. Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park
Have you ever thought about every little thing you do- from the strides you take when you walk, the leaves you brush against that fall, or how long you stay at a coffee shop, or even the regularity of your breathing or the time you wake up in the middle of the night – and how it ultimately contributes to a phenomena half a world away?
From the venation of leaves, to the complex neural network- the dispersion of gas particles and the chaotic movement patterns of a mosh pit, the Fibonacci sequence and Fractals- are languages spoken by the universe that lets us take a peek of the Grand Design- the underlying order that acts as the common denominator that is essentially universal.
What If our smallest ideas and things we do or not do cause unlikely effects that have the power to change the world entirely? What if our ideas in Culture, Health, Design, Inspiration, Politics, and Society shift an inch and might unlock the Grand Idea?
The Butterfly Effect explores unseemly relationships that create impacts, unlikely stories told by surprising storytellers, and what seems like chaos and disorder that holds an underlying pattern that connects us all.

Insoymada isn’t the daily bread, but he can breathe life into words. A columnist and songwriter, his passion lies in the dialect, bending it in all its forms; sa balak, sa suwat, sa kanta. Insoy is also one of the brains and hands behind Vispop, and sings for Missing Filemon.Miguel Garcia
Neuroeconomist
On his TEDx talk, Miguel Garcia shows us that there are actually two ways which we respond to the unknown: the "Bahala Na" or come-what-may and the "Simba ko" or whatever-will- be, will-be attitude. Miguel Garcia shows us the importance of knowing the difference and how it affects the different aspects of our lives. Brilliant is an understatement for a man who crosses fields of study: He can do maths, read the economy, and pick your brain why you and why you don’t. Miguel Garcia is currently in Switzerland for his Doctoral studies, but never forgets his city, a part of his passion and duty.Nestor Archival
