Victoria locals gathered in Atomique HQ downtown, to watch footage of TED Global, streamed live from Rio de Janeiro. The crowd was small intimate and energized, which allowed us to really connect and engage with each other about the ideas and stories shared throughout the day. One participant in particular exclaimed “This is THE way to spend a day!”.

The entire day consisted of three sessions, running from 11 am to 4:30 pm, and included talks by a techno-sociologist, an Anti-corruption activist, a megacities expert, and several amazing performances. First up was Session 2: Digital Reboot followed by Session 4: Field Work, and Session 5: Urban Canvas.
