In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anita Klasanova

Anita Klasanova, a graphic designer by profession, wasted no time wondering whether her sudden shift in career was the right path. Three years ago, she felt the momentum and invested it in turning a homemade dessert – a treat to the senses – into a now worldwide known brand, Roobar. Now a food technologist both by heart and officially, Anita likes to say that simple food is the innovation today. And she did create an innovation by all means, one that helped change the culture of eating healthy in Bulgaria. She lit the match back in 2006, when together with her husband she opened the first organic shop in Bulgaria. Her homemade recipes have now spread to 4 continents and more than 40 countries.

In Bulgaria, up until the second half of 2015, these babies were still treated as "biological waste" and burned along with other hospital waste.
