STOMP

STOMP Productions and Glynis Henderson Present STOMP STOMP, the British theatrical sensation that has become a truly global phenomenon, is an infectious mix of percussion, dance, theatre and comedy with an exhilarating soundtrack inspired by the commotion of everyday life. Eight performers use everything from Zippo lighters, bin lids, and even the kitchen sink to hammer out an explosively feel-good rhythm enjoyed by audiences of all ages the world over. The show was created in Brighton by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas in 1991, and has since toured all corners of the globe. There are up to five companies performing around the world at any one time, including long-term runs in London and New York City.

Dr Linda Papadpoulos

Dr. Linda Papadopoulos is one of the most well-known Psychologists working in the UK today. As well as an accomplished academic career where she set up and headed successful post-graduate programmes, she is also an active researcher who has been published widely in academic periodicals. Her work has informed government policy, in 2010 she headed up a highly acclaimed independent review for the Home Office on the effects of sexualisation on young people. She has authored several academic and popular books, and her comments regarding the psychology behind news and current events are often syndicated by the press and discussed by both TV and radio networks both in the UK and the US.

Kathy Lette is a celebrated and outspoken comic writer who has an inimitable take on serious current issues. She is one of the pioneering voices of contemporary feminism, paving the way for Caitlin Moran, Lena Dunham, The Vagenda and Everyday Sexism. Kathy Lette first achieved success de scandale as a teenager with the novel “Puberty Blues”, which was made into a major film and a TV mini-series. Director of Challenging Ideas, Chair of European Movement Laura Sandys is an innovator who seeks to challenge incumbent thinking in public policy and business in order to increase competition, productivity and creativity. She is currently Director of Challenging Ideas and Chair of European Movement, and previously served as MP for South Thanet and Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Minister for Energy and Climate Change. Laura is also founder of the Food Foundation, an independent policy think-tank exploring challenges facing UK and international food systems.

Lord Holmes of Richmond

Chris Holmes is Britain's most successful Paralympic swimmer, winning a record 6 gold's at a single games. Chris was also Director of Paralympic Integration for London 2012. A lifelong campaigner for equality and inclusion, Chris was appointed to the House of Lords in 2013 as the Lord Holmes of Richmond. Chris currently divides his time between parliamentary work, a role as Head of Disability at the Equality and Human Rights Commission and various speaking, consultancy and charitable commitments.

Sheelagh McNamara has worked as a senior tutor for RADA in Business for over 5 years and is a highly trained voice, speech & presentation skills professional. She has 30 years’ experience in executive level coaching across the globe and an extensive background in preparing clients for political forum, television debate, radio interview and presentations. Her clients include Oscar Nominees, Politicians, Lawyers, and Senior Executives together with the CEOs and Presidents of multinationals. Sheelagh has collaborated with RADA in Business to design and deliver its highly successful Executive Presence for Women Programme working with senior women and industry leaders to hold their space, find their voice and make an impact.

Sophia Cannon

Sophia is a social justice and political commentator and barrister able to chat with ease on British politics. She makes politics accessible to the British public: in their cars, in their homes. She's a Twitter MILF! "The Mother I'd Like to Follow!" Tweeting under her cheeky moniker, @UndercoverMutha. As a barrister, she wishes to allow women to become the best advocates, giving little secrets as to how barristers present cases and how women can become the best public speakers they can be.

Sue Owen is Permanent Secretary at DCMS (Culture, Media, Sport). She was an academic for the first third of her career, researching women in the labour market. Then she became a Government economist, in Treasury, No 10 & British Embassy Washington. The last 12 years were in leadership roles, at Treasury, International Development, Work & Pensions and, since 2013, DCMS. She champions LGB&T and gender equality. Sue is married to Prof Martin Albrow and has one son and 3 stepsons.

Tracey Groves, Partner, PwC Tracey joined Price Waterhouse as a trainee chartered accountant in 1991. She has over twenty years of experience helping clients successfully implement change in the areas of governance, integrity, business ethics, regulatory compliance and leadership. Tracey leads the PwC UK Integrity and Business Ethics capability as part of the PwC Governance, Risk and Compliance Leadership Team. She leads the design, development and implementation of global Integrity Risk and Business Ethic programmes for multi-national clients. She also sits on the PwC Ideas Engine on Trust for the UK Firm and is the Chair of the PwC UK Women’s Network.
