The theme for TEDxMSU 2015, “The Will”, will focus on the idea of willpower and the mental and physical processes by which brilliant ideas make it out of brain-space and mere musings... and into the real world.
Not all proposals survive, but we’re interested in that impetus, that moment of action where dreams push their way into reality.
TEDxMSU is a collaboration between Michigan State University’s students, alumni, faculty, and friends, as well as the larger East Lansing community. The MSU community has many brilliant stories to share - and we want to bring them to center stage.
The conference will feature interdisciplinary presenters, including faculty, students, alumni, and other affiliates to the University, expressing their past experiences, current projects, and future visions to promote inquiry within the MSU community.
We keep TED’s mission of "ideas Worth Spreading" close to our own: to spark change via conversation and interaction with ideas both here in East Lansing and in the futures of attendees.
Operating under the TED license, we will also make full use of livestream and media capabilities to reach as many individuals as possible even after the conference.
