After over a decade in New York City, Daniel embarked on a next decade in the international schools. Daniel worked as a teacher and school principal in Guatemala, Thailand and Spain, before arriving in Panama in 2008 as the High School Principal
Felipe Félix Méndez
Youth Entrepreneur
Throughout his 15 years living in Panama City, Panama, Felix has noticed something astonishing about the country: the public opinion of the youth on major matters such as politics and economics is hardly taken into consideration because of the mere fact that they are young.
Felix, a young entrepreneur, has strong beliefs that if he finds something unfair, it is impossible for him to stay quiet. But sometimes, people his age do not get the chance to express their concerns because they're not adults. In the past years, Felix has been greatly involved in major debate conferences that have helped his awareness and opinion on current events, as well as made him a much more confident person overall. Felix believes that the stories and experiences that the youth is able to provide to this day and age will really make a difference in the world, and that is why they should be heard.
Felix's talk will be given in Spanish, titled "Sentandose en la Mesa de los Adultos".
