In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Lubhyathi Rangarajan

Lubhyathi Rangarajan is currently working as an associate in the Death Penalty Litigation Clinic at the National Law University, Delhi. Most recipients of capital punishment usually belong to economically and socially backward classes. Owing to their destitution, a large number of prisoners sentenced to death are unable to access adequate legal representation which has been recognized as a part of right to fair trial. The Death Penalty Litigation Clinic was thus established in August 2014 with the aim to provide indigent prisoners on death row with competent and effective legal representation.
