A.V. Ravikumar

Mr. A. V. Ravikumar leads a fascinating double life; by profession, he is the Managing Director of Flyjac Logistics under the Hitachi Transport Systems Group, and by passion, a Mimicry Artist who captivates his audience with sound illusion. Whenever Mr. Ravikumar is not busy managing his company, he is engrossed in performing his favourite art form in various stages across India, the Middle East and Japan. Not just satisfied by juggling between profession and passion, he also makes it a point to give back to society through the Warrier’s Foundation which supports 300+ children across 4 centers in Kerala and Mumbai.

Anagha Amte

The daughter ­in law of Magsaysay Award winning doctors, Dr Prakash Amte and Dr Mandakini Amte, she along with her husband, Dr Digant Amte is currently the head of the Lok Biradari Prakalp Hospital, established in 1973 by Baba Amte, a pioneer in the field of social activism. It is renowned worldwide for its selfless dedication to the healthcare and welfare of tribal groups located in Hemalkasa, a small village in the state of Maharashtra. Dr Anagha Amte has made the hospital a world class facility for healthcare by facilitating modernization of the hospital. She is also in-charge of the OPD, where she is the go­to person for taking care of pregnant tribal women. We look forward for Dr. Amte for sharing her experiences through her stories right here at TEDxVITVellore.

Dr. M. Sayeed Alam

Dr. M. Sayeed Alam, is a man of speckled interests. In the recent past, he has been a university teacher and a journalist before taking up his passion as a professional theatric dramatist. Ever since, he has written, directed, and acted in, more than 1,500 plays. He heads one of India’s prominent theatric group -Pierrot’s Troupe, renowned for its contemporary and incisive plays. His intention to show that Urdu drama is no different than any other mainstream professional themes of the theatre is what makes him one of the leading symbols of theatric drama in the country.

Dr. Mahaveer Jain Golechha

Dr. Mahaveer Jain Golechha, an Indian researcher who has received the Alzheimer's Young Investigator Scholarship Award at the 7th Annual Drug Discovery for Neurodegeneration Conference, has been actively associated with several international agencies for the advancement of public health facilities in Rajasthan and Gujarat. He has also received Outstanding Public Health Achievement Award and Pubic Health Leadership Award by the Rajasthan government for his contribution towards the betterment of community health services in the state.

Kamakshi Khanna

A voice that calms, a face that speaks, music that stays long after the beats have faded out, Kamakshi Khanna is one of the most unique sounds to have come up in the fast expanding Delhi music circuit. A singer and songwriter from Delhi, this musician whilst pursuing her education is making sure that she’s following her dream and her passion to sing, writing and producing songs that have an impact on the Indie music scene in the country. Her intention to become one of the leading Indie pop voices of India is what makes her an icon of inspiration for young musicians.

Romaine San Francesco

Ms. Romaine San Francesco is the project head of the Samarpan foundation, which works towards fulfilling humanitarian, ecological and environment needs. Her intention to eradicate homelessness from Chennai(India) and the world at large, using something as immaterial as pet bottles speaks volumes about her creative spirit.

Sangeeth Varghese

Mr. Sangeeth Varghese is a man who dons many hats. He’s a leadership thinker, an academician, an alumnus of Yale, London School of Economics and Harvard. His intention to involve the youth in his endeavors to bring about a change in the world of leadership is what makes him Asia Pacific’s most dynamic young leader.

Vivek Srinivasan

He is a Startup mentor who works extensively with early stage start ups. A mechanical engineering didn't hold his interest for long but when he followed the next fad and started his MBA, it came naturally to him. He is the acting Managing Director of VS Prudence Advisors pvt. ltd, Director of Agrowtel Resorts & Estates Pvt. Ltd and co-founder of startups club. He is also working closely with students by helping many startups from the institutes by providing them with seed capital to help them grow and develop into full-fledged businesses.
