Benjamin Viethen
Part screen designer, part entertainer, all creative: ever since he was a child, marketing professional Benjamin Viethen has been pursuing various creative arts such as making music or performing magic tricks.
In 2008 his interest in creativity and design eventually led to studying multimedia production at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel. Since then, he has crafted designs for various national and international clients.
As an art director, Viethen enjoys working in various fields as an illustrator, copywriter, designer, animator and voice-over artist. To create entertaining and relevant advertising he usually finds inspiration on the street or in movies. And sometimes even in an ordinary deck of cards.
Elisabeth Panuschka
Elisabeth Panuschka is a student in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at FH Kiel.
She was a fulltime Olympic athlete in the sailing sport competing all over the world for the last 5 years. She has experienced different cultures, people, languages and of course challenges, which she needed to face, while following her sport.
Hannes Eilers
Hannes Eilers is a lab engineer for robotics at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel.
Born in 1987 he did his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics at the UAS Kiel and finished his studies in 2016 with an M.Sc. degree in Information Technology.
Hannes is the founder of a student robotics group at the UAS Kiel and a supporter of Kiel hilft Flüchtlingen, a voluntary initiative that seeks to help refugees by providing in kind donations, leisure activity programs and language classes.
Lutz Lungershausen
Lutz Lungershausen is the Creative Director at a large advertising agency based in Kiel.
He has given lectures, workshops, and talks on systematic creativity at various companies, art & design universities, barcamps, photokina and others. He is the author of the book „Creativity in Photography“, likes to find a different way to get to work every day and writes down his most exciting dreams - a topic he will dive into during this TEDx-Talk.
Marie Delaperrière
Marie Delaperrière is the founder of „Unverpackt“ in Kiel, a grocery store where you can buy everything with no one way packaging.
Born in 1973, in the south of France, Marie came to Germany with her Husband at the age of 30. As a mother of three children, she first worked as a project manager for an international German company.
Concerned about the packaging waste, produced by our consumer society, she decided to create her own business in order to address this ecological issue and realise her dream of making the world a better place.
Marit Hansen
Since 2015 Marit Hansen is the Data Protection Commissioner of Land
Schleswig-Holstein and Chief of "Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für
Datenschutz (ULD)".
Before being appointed Data Protection Commissioner, she was Deputy Commissioner for seven years. Within ULD she established the "Privacy Technology Projects” Division and the “Innovation Centre Privacy & Security”.
Since her diploma in computer science in 1995 she has been working on privacy and security aspects. Her focus is privacy by design and privacy by default from both the technical and the legal perspectives.
Renko Pauwels
Renko Pauwels is a Belgian marketing and sales professional living in Berlin. He is responsible for building up the Benelux market for a software company.
Renko is the winner of Toastmasters Humorous Speech Contest District 95 (North, East, Central Europe) 2015 in Prague as well as the past President of an English speaking Speech club in Berlin.
He gets grumpy if he skips breakfast.
Zara Apetrei Huseynova
Zara Apetrei Huseynova is the founder and CEO of WoWoman and ALZA boutiques in Azerbaijan.
She founded ALZA at the age of 18 with a budget of just 200 Dollars and 1,5 years ago the 23 year old went on to found WoWoman in Baku/Azerbaijan, a woman empowerment platform that now involves a team of 50+ woman and is expanding internationally.
Zara is an alumnus of the United States Departement of State exchange program in public policy and social entrepreneurship. She was selected by the U.S. Departement of State to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford University, hosted by President Barack Obama.
In 2016 Zara became an alumnus of the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, being one of just 4 people from around the world to receive a full scholarship.
