Willy, Jack and Charlie speak music as a second language. In the opening TEDxTalk of TEDxYouth@NIS, they have composed a piece to reinvent and repurpose an instrument. The improvisational skills of jazz musicians was honoured by base, drum and piano solos.

Teacher and student of life

He has lived in Nanjing, China for 7 years. He likes playing bass, lacrosse and snowboarding.

Daewoo Lee

Korean teacher

Daewoo Lee is now studying Chinese history and philosophy to have an insight into intellectual origin of Korean and himself. It is imperative for this Korean to attend Ph.D program in university of U.S.A to achieve his dream. For this goal, he decided to practice English speaking by himself from a zero base when he was 29 years old.

Frank Hossack

Editor of the Nanjinger Magazine

Frank is a four time New York Festivals winner who moved to China in 1993 to assist in the development of the country's popular music radio programming, in the process producing the world's then most listened to radio show.

Michael works at BSH for almost 20 years. He moved to China in 2007 with his family, and his 2 children are students at Nanjing International School.
