In the spirit and tradition of TED, TEDxSrinagar - a one-day summer celebration
of imagination and inspiration, will take place in Srinagar. Kashmir on Sunday
July 24, 2011.
The event's theme is “Blood, Sweat and Ideas”, reflecting the hard work and an indomitable spirit of the people of Kashmir. TEDxSrinagar will demonstrate how this
immaculately beautiful land is catalyzing cutting edge technology, world-class research, great works of art and ingenious social entrepreneurship.
TEDxSrinagar celebrates those achievements with a view towards the significant challenges facing Kashmir and the region. By infusing the world renowned TED platform with local energy and spirit, TEDxSrinagar organizer, Rahul Pawa expects this gathering “to foster continued generation of tantalizing ideas, bold innovation, and hope.”
