208 ensemble is dedicated to cultivating enthusiasm in Boise for a brand of music that exists where the refinement of classical performance meets the visceral energy of a rock concert. This dynamic, multi-instrumental contemporary music group includes cellist Jake Saunders, violinists Geoffrey Hill and Kate Jarvis, violist Emily Jones, and pianist Betsi Hodges, representing some of the highest caliber classical musicians in Idaho.
Marimba Boise
Marimba Boise is a community of students of Zimbabwean-style marimba music. They play on a family of xylophones, where each instrument adds an essential voice to an intricate and joyful sound. Drawing on music from southern Africa, they celebrate the region’s infectious dance rhythms, traditions and ever-unfolding beauty.
Charles Honts
Charles R. Honts is a Professor of Psychology at Boise State University. He continues a 36-year long research program that focuses on applying psychological science to real-world problems. He is internationally recognized as one of the world's top experts on credibility assessment. Professor Honts has published and/or presented more than 350 scientific papers on deception detection. He has also published and given expert testimony on interrogation and false confession, eyewitness identification, and the forensic interviewing of children. Besides the United States, Professor Honts has given lectures and continuing education in Canada, China, Columbia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, and The Netherlands, and has appeared in courts around the world as an expert witness 121 times.

Dex previously led communications for SpaceX and the executive communications team at Facebook. He's served as speechwriter for Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Google's Eric Schmidt, and the United Nations. Dex is also a New York Times bestselling ghostwriter.
Haven Baker
Haven is the son of a farmer, giving him unique insight into the inefficiencies of modern agriculture. he went on to study at Yale and Harvard, earning and MBA and doctorate before becoming an international fund manager to better learn the economies of the developing world. In his role at Simplot, he leads the team responsible for the world's first biotech crop with consumer traits, which has the potential to cut potato waste in the U.S. by 1.4 billion pounds annually.
Jimmy Hallyburton
Jimmy spent most of his childhood exploring the Boise countryside on hand-me-down bicycles. With two wheels below and open roads in the distance, he discovered the freedom, opportunity and independence a bicycle can bring. After high school, Jimmy hit the open roads again, traveling all over the country fighting wildfires for the Idaho City Hotshots. With a Mass Communications degree from Boise state University and absolutely no experience in the nonprofit sector whatsoever, he launched Boise Bicycle Project. Nine years later, the project has been voted Boise's Best Local Nonprofit six times, and has recycled more than 10,000 bicycles back onto the streets of Boise.
Jodi Peterson
Jodi has been working with the homeless community of Boise for more than nine years. In her role as the Development and Co-Director of the Interfaith Sanctuary, she has fashioned events to fundraise for the cause, created visual pieces to help educate the Boise community on the challenges faced by the homeless, and stood in the trenches of the tent city, Cooper Court.
Kayla-Leah Rich
Kayla-Leah is courageously ending the silence on the topic of menstruation. After experiencing a period in a third-world country, she realized that even in developed nations, there is a cost to not having permission to talk about what happens with and to the female body during menstruation. She brings humor and reason to this important conversation.
Levi Bettwieser
Levi is a founder of and technician for The Rescued Film Project. As such, he is often the first person to see the images captures on lost, orphaned rolls of film. Levi enjoys taking photos with one of his 15 antique film cameras and works to debunk the popular notion that film photography is more difficult than digital.
Mykelle Walton
Based in Southern Idaho, Mykelle Walton is an aerial artist pushing the boundaries of what the human body can do, while combining it with the strength, grace, and artistry of a cirque style aerialist to create one-of-a-kind experiences about the questions of life, philosophy, and physics.
Mykelle has been doing acrobatics for over 23 years {almost her entire life} and has won multiple regional titles for gymnastics, as well as being a self-taught aerial artist. She has dreams of running away with the circus in the near future and hopes you enjoy the combination of all of her passions in this piece.
Phil McGrane
Phil began working in elections in 2005, training poll workers and finding polling places. He currently serves as the Chief Deputy Clerk for Ada County, overseeing all elections in the county. He holds a bachelors degree in philosophy from the University of Washington, a Masters in Public Administration from Boise State, and a law degree from the University of Denver.
SeAnne Safaii-Waite
SeAnne is a cofounder of Nutrition and Wellness Associates, as well as an associate professor of nutrition and dietetics at the University of Idaho. She is a nutrition communications professional, a registered dietitian and educator, whose work has been published in various journals, textbooks, newspapers and magazines.
Stacy Ennis
Stacy Ennis is a parent living what it means to bring up little humans in what can feel like a big, scary world. She's also a deep thinker with a background in journalism. She spent four years ghostwriting for a Nobel Prize winner, reading hundreds of scientific studies and engaging with audiences around the globe. As the former executive editor of Sam’s Club’s bimonthly magazine, Stacy created and edited content that regularly reached millions. She has lived a life of intentional discomfort that’s led her to live in developing countries, run my own business, and do scary things like try to give a TED talk.
Sue Linja
Sue is a cofounder of Nutrition and Wellness Associates, as well as a registered dietitian nutritionist whose passion is the relationships between nutrition and aging. She enjoys meeting and caring for her clients, especially those living into their 8th, 9th and 10th decades of life. She learns valuable life lessons from every person of age that she is fortunate to meet and hopes to celebrate her own 100th birthday.
