IDK-Jefferson College
IDK is comprised of Jefferson College music students who play in a variety of bands, combos and solo performances throughout the year. They have been playing together since 2016. The students not only play, they also arrange and produce their own pieces.

Jawaad Spann
Jawaad Spann is a music student here at Jefferson College. A lifelong musician, Spann grew up in a musical family that considered the saxophone a family tradition. A St. Louis native, he attended Central Visual and Performing Art’s High School. His talent for poetry emerged during a studio session and has since become part of his work as an artist.
Nymbio Yorke
Nyonbio Yorke was born in Ivory Coast of Liberian parents. In 2010 he and his mother moved to the United States as refugees. In 2015 Nyonbio joined Jefferson College’s soccer team where he serves as one of two captains and is on the Student Senate. He will graduate this May and attend Lake Erie College in Ohio to play soccer and study accounting.
Patricia McDaniel
Dr. McDaniel is a graduate of St. Louis University and a tenured Biology professor at Jefferson College. McDaniel has served in many leadership positions on campus and, 2012, she received the Governor’s Award in Excellence in teaching. Dr. McDaniel has also developed and conducted education programs throughout Central and South America.
Robert Brazzle
Dr. Brazzle earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Washington University in 1997. He then served as a Math and Science educator where he helped implement national science standards in the classroom. He came to Jefferson College in 2013 where he teaches physics and engineering course and chairs a task force for planning the campus-wide event for the total Solar eclipse which will occur on August 21, 2017.
