Theme: Re-Think

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He taught at Atma Jaya for 4 and a half years and has become very fond of how education is based not only on knowledge but also on the human subject of the interaction. His past family, social, organization, and education experiences have given him a unique perspective on what it means to be human.

Denny AJD

Drummer, Lecturer, Author, Inventor, Firearms Designer/Expert, & Composer.

Teach, invent and create is just a few words describing Denny AJD, born in Jakarta, 1978. A lecturer, author, inventor, musician who focus on drumming, creating new and complicated polyrhythmic drum beats. A highly passionate lecturer who teach everything from music to gun handling on his weekends. He had many copyrights & patents covering audio contents and firearms mechanics. Which he had transfered his firearms concepts & idea to Indonesian Goverment owned Weapons Company, PT Pindad. His creative thinking also made him published 6 music books already. One of his book "Practical Guidance to Drumming" sold up to 17.000 copies in 2003. He also got many International endorsement deal regarding his outstanding drumming from leading music instruments.

This girl is easygoing and full of laughter. She is a bit mischievous but always try to be grateful and admires the uniqueness of each person. She is captivated by the smile of children; for they radiate sincerity on their faces.

Karin is a student in Education Major. She has a high enthusiastic to learn everything around her. Science is one of things that has been interesting her since she was in primary. From science, she got something that can brings her to the tedxuaj stage to share it to the public.

Curious and exceptional are two word that ressemble Kelvin. Born in Jakarta, 1995; Kelvin has a very keen curiousity. He enjoys learning something new that are bizzare but unique at the same time. Being born in a big and loving family, Kelvin embarks on a journey to find happiness in his life. He once struggled to find it but now he does not.

Pingky Ruslie

When you first meet Pingky, you are welcomed with her sweet yet intriguing personality. Born in 1995, she may looks just like other undergraduates in her age. But she's no ordinary. Diagnosed with scoliosis and been struggling for years doesn't limit and stop her from fulfilling her dreams. She started working at a very young age and now she runs her own clothing line. Currently in her last year studying Psychology, Pingky is a strongwilled and determined young lady who's passionate about life. She also loves traveling; connecting with people; sharing her vision and thoughts through the social media about how we can do things beyond our limitations.

Born 33 years ago, this man have a great passion for mountain hiking and inspiring Indonesia's teenagers through leadership. He is the founder of Young Leader (Indonesia-based young leader community, who had a vision of producing excel leaders, while also become a blessing for others).
