In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alejandra is a radio journalist, poet and mother; holds a degree in Advertising, was invited to study Cognitive Neuropsychology, and deepened her studies in Gynecopsychiatry at Favaloro University. A university professor, she created PANCOE, a successful educational method combining communication, cooking, new technologies and neuroscience, shortlisted by the QS Star Awards "Reimagine Education" organized by the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pensilvania.

Fatima Sastre

Psychoanalyst and professional dancer

Fátima Sastre is a dancer with a degree in psychology.  She teaches and researches dancing and its articulation with psychoanalysis. She has trained with renowned teachers from various forms of dance, movement and art therapy in the search for new therapeutic tools to work with patients through body movement. She has created a type of therapy that develops the relationship between dance and psychoanalysis through words and movement as a way of reading subjective texts that people produce. She also works in community centers and institutions that work with people with disabilities.

Galo Illia

Doctor in chemistry specialized in nanotechnology.

He was born in Buenos Aires on 05/31/1970. In his first contact with chemistry, he burned the dining room table in his house. He studied Chemistry at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences (UBA) and perfected in nanomaterials at the University of Paris VI. Currently, he is Dean of the Institute of Nanosystems of UNSAM, Principal Investigator of CONICET, Associate Professor in the DQIAyQF (FCEN, UBA) and Academic Holder of the National Acad of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences. It is dedicated to design and produce with intelligent architectures in the scale of the nanometers with properties to measure, using chemical methods inspired by the Nature.

Guillermo Ditale

Guillermo tiene un grado en Ciencias de la Comunicación (UBA), tiene estudios de posgrado en Marketing, y una amplia formación en las áreas de Recursos Humanos y Formación. Marisabel Rodriguez

Marisabel is an enthusiast of technology as an expression of the evolution of Civilization. She is an electronic engineer and has worked in datacenter infrastructure technologies for 16 years. She participated for 6 years in several organizations as a volunteer, promoting the knowledge of the latest advances through talks and courses given by outstanding professionals, national and international. Since 2012 she has served as Section Secretary and Vice President of the Women in Engineering affinity group at the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), an international organization that creates more than half of the world's technology standards. She is an amateur illustrator and uses her drawings to promote the talks and courses she organizes. She is the coordinator of the "Robotito" robotics course, whose objective is to initiate the youngest in the use of technology as creators, not as users, and that has insights in diversity, teamwork and stimulate creativity.
