Huiqi Tong
Huiqi Tong obtained her Master degree from Shanghai Medical School and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Pacific Psychology Graduate School. She is Clinical Assistant Professor at UC San Francisco (UCSF). She is also Director and Adjunct Professor for the Global Masers’ Program-China at Palo Alto University (PAU). Dr. Tong has played a key role in bringing Western developed mindfulness-based interventions to China. She is the Founding Teacher of Wise Heart, the first Chinese Mindfulness program, A Qualified teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Redcution form Medical School, Mindfulness Based Cognition Treatment from Oxford University Mindfulness Center. She also translates books such as The Mindful Way Through Despression, Mindful Parenting and etc.

Jon Kabat-Zinn
Jon Kabat-Zinn is Professor of Medicine Emeritus and creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Kabat-Zinn was a student of Buddhist teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh and Zen Master Seung Sahn and a founding member of Cambridge Zen Center. His practice of yoga and studies with Buddhist teachers led him to integrate their teachings with those of science. He teaches mindfulness, which he says can help people cope with stress, anxiety, pain, and illness. The stress reduction program created by Kabat-Zinn, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), is offered by medical centers, hospitals, and health maintenance organizations. His books e.g. 《Mindfulness for Beginners》, 《Full Catastrophe Living》, 《Wherever You Go, There You Are》 which have great influence in the western society.
