TEDxManipalUniversityJaipur is a one-day event featuring multiple speakers from various domains spanning across Technology, Entertainment, and Design. The event is designed to inspire and get inspired from various stalwarts. TEDxManipalUniversityJaipur remains true to the theme of TED and celebrates ideas worth spreading. This year's TEDxManipalUniversityJaipur will stimulate people to initiate a dialogue and speak up. This year hushed voices will get voice and the shackles of rampant marginalization will be broken.

Abhinav quit his job after engineering to pursue fashion modeling as a career, and was featured on the cover of Men's Health Magazine, in Numerous Campaigns like Mohan Lal and Sons, Editorials for The Man, Cosmopolitan, etc and walked the ramp for top designers like Manish Malhotra. Decided to pursue Fitness in 2016 and now has over 2.6 lakh social media followers and subscribers. Also trained over 300 Clients since April 2016 through his Online Fitness programs and has dedicated his life to helping the youth become fitter by sharing his experiences and struggles.

Athar Aamir Khan

IAS Officer, HT's 30 under 30 inspiring youth

Athar Aamir Khan is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 2016 batch. He was AIR 2 of UPSC Civil Service Examination held in 2015. Athar hails from a village Devipora in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir and has become a role model for youth. Athar is a pass out of IIT Mandi. In 2015 Athar was included in Hindustan Times' list of 30 under 30 inspiring youth. A hardworking officer and a passionate human being aspiring to become a catalyst for change.

Alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy, served in the Indian Army for 28 years. Also served as an Instructor in the IMA, the Defence Services Staff College and the Army War College. CO of a battalion which saw action in the Mushkoh and Dras Sectors during the Kargil War in 1999. Passionate about reading and teaching, he brought his rich experience to the corporate world and served with Vedanta PLC and Jindal Steels before joining Reliance Industries as the Head of Security of Manufacturing.

Self-taught travel photographer with features in National Geographic Traveler Magazine, Lonely Planet, 500px amongst others. Known for his magnificent landscapes, cityscapes, and conceptual portraits, he co-founded Streets of India, an Instagram based photo travel blog with over 4 lakh followers.

Dr. Sukant Khurana

Researcher, Author, CEO at Data Is Not Just Data

Dr. Sukant Khurana is a polymath, a neuroscientist and a data scientist who enjoys studying complexity and nuances, whether of brain functioning, drug discovery, development of new statistical tools, or analysing large data sets. He works on drug discovery for various neurological disorders, including alcohol addiction, using plant extracts, peptides, and epigenetic agents. He is both experimentally, theoretically and computationally exploring mechanisms of Parkinson's disease, activity dependent brain development, sub-millisecond timing computation in the brain, and mechanisms of neuronal plasticity. His data-science work is on two streams: developing novel statistical tools and utilizing data science for biomedical research. Through data science, he works on causes of sustainable development, where he is exploring issues of mental health, addiction, and AIDS epidemic. Has hosted trailer launches for blockbuster movies like MS Dhoni, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Baywatch, along with events like HT Style Awards. Marathoner, Sports Coach

Since she quit her corporate job 4 years ago, she ran 9000 kilometers, lost 15 kilograms, and has successfully ended her 26 year long relationship with tobacco. She now runs a pan India campaign, Take A Breath Of Fresh Air, which spreads the message that smoking can be quit joyfully - through running. Apart from the campaign, she works with underprivileged kids as a sports coach to help them unlock their potential.

Sejal Kumar, all of 22, is a Lifestyle YouTuber, who does everything from Fashion, Sketches, Travel Vlogs, Music, Dance and more on her channel. She started off this venture 2 years back while pursuing Economics from SRCC, Delhi and quickly enough took it up as her full time profession. In a year of doing this full time, she has amassed 390k subscribers, walked the Red Carpet at YouTube FanFest, represented India at Creator Summit Melbourne, is one the India YouTube Ambassadors and created over 200 videos!
