Adriaan Grobler
Adriaan Grobler is the founder and
visionary leader at a local
engineering consulting firm.
Adriaan has more than 23 years of
extensive experience and expertise
in project management, planning,
design, and procurement and
construction supervision of civil
engineering and building projects in
Namibia, South Africa, Angola,
Zambia and Tanzania. He is a
registered professional civil
engineer and obtained his BEng
(Civil) degree in 1991 from the
University of Stellenbosch in South
Africa. He recently completed a
short course MBA as well as a
Diploma in Property Development
and Investment at UCT.
Dr Pandu Hailongo- van Dijk
A public health expert with extensive
international experience in Southern
Africa and Europe. Has held several
management positions in Government and
International Organisations and previously
adjunct professor for International
development studies at the Centre for
Global Education Augsburg College; public
Health advisor and currently an academic
director at Seahorse Institute. Dr.
Hailonga-van Djik has a PhD in
Development studies from the Institute of
Social Studies in the Hague, Netherlands
and a Master of Science in Health
Education and Health promotion from
Leeds Metropolitan University, UK
Edward Turner
A chartered Accountant, Banker
and Theologist, Dr. Turner holds two
degrees in accounting and finance
related fields from the UNISA and
five degrees in theology including
a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology
from Stellenbosch University.
He believes that philosophy can
solve many convectional problems
encountered in social settings. He
enjoys writing, cooking, camping
and science.
Hermien Elago
An avid CrossFitter who took part in
her first Open in 2017, a three times
half-marathon runner who
is currently in training to run her
first full marathon in of November
2017. She is a health & fitness
enthusiast and an entrepreneur in
the beef supply industry.She
believes that the journey of self
love, overcoming and facing your
fears head on, is one that everyone
can embark on, She
would like to make sure that
every woman is able to find
her way out.
Johannes Shangadi
The 23-year-old final year law
student that is aspiring to pursue
masters in gender studies.
Johannes has been debating
competitively for the past nine (9)
years with placings in competitions
such as the Namibian Schools
National Debating Championships,
University of Namibia Debate Open
Champion, South African National
University Debate Championships as
well a Pan African Debate
Championships. He now provides
debate training and coaching to
various schools in Namibia
Ros Limbo
Born in Otjiwarongo, she holds a
BCom Degree in Accounting
from Rhodes University, South
Africa; as well as a certificate
in Afrikan Feminist and
Gender Studies from UNISA.
Ros is also an avid yogi. She is a
contributor on The Mighty, The
International Bipolar Foundation
(IBPF) and The Depression
Army. Ros is a firm believer that
only through open dialogue can
the stigma surrounding mental
health be
dismantled.
Seno Namwandi
Seno Namwandi is a dynamic young
scientist interested in convergence
between Science, Business and Law. She
obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular
Biology and Biotechnology
from Stellenbosch University.
After struggling to pursue a career in pure
science in the field of Molecular Biology,
she moves into intellectual Property. She
worked on the first ever
Open Innovation project at the University
of Namibia which further exposed her to
IP and scenarios of Technology Transfer.
She obtained a postgraduate certificate
in Intellectual Property Management
and Innovation through University of
South Africa (UNISA) and also holds a
Master’s degree in Intellectual
Property
Zemha Gawachas
Zemha Gawachas hails from Mariental
and Holds a Bachelors of Jurisprudence
and a Honors degree in laws. She is an
aspiring Diplomat and an ardent lover
of literature and poetry. She honours
her passion of human self-realisation
by professing the greatness of people
and combines raw life lessons with
psychology, conscious thinking and
transformational techniques to help
young people realise their full
potential.
