TEDxSUU is the culminating event for a semester long Honors course that uses TED.com as its topic, text book, and source of inspiration. Each week students write thought papers and participate in senior seminar discussions based on a featured TED Talk. This year's topics have run the gamut from cyborgs with Amber Case to symbiosis with Pilobolus. At the conclusion of the course we sponsor a PAM (Passion-Academics-Media) event where each student presents a short TED-like Talk around his/her idea worth spreading. Attendees and classmates review each presentation and the best are invited to speak at the TEDxSUU event.
