Sanjoy Roy is the cofounder and managing director of Teamwork Arts, the company that organizes the JLF, the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META), the Ishara Puppet Theatre Festival, the Kahaani festival of storytelling and the Friends of Music concerts, among others. As the man behind the ‘greatest literary show on earth’, he has visions to make arts a paying proposition and also to ‘build brand India’ through it. He is a founder trustee of Salaam Baalak Trust working to provide support services for street and working children in the inner city of Delhi where over 55,000 children have benefited from education, training and residential services over the past years. He is an advisor for the arts and diversity for numerous government and non-governmental organisations across the world.

Practicing a traditional form of art named after the ancient region of Mithila in the state of Bihar in eastern India, Santosh Kumar Das draws inspiration from Hindu mythology and iconography, incidents in recent Indian history and anecdotes from everyday life. Employing Mithila art’s unique Madhubani style and technique, he reinvents enduring themes while paving new ground. Getting an arts degree from the MS University of Baroda, Das went on to become the first teacher at the Mithila Art Institute in the small town of Madubhani. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including at the Asia Society in New York.

Siddharth Agarwal is a photographer, a filmmaker, an aerospace engineer from IIT Kharagpur, a dreamer and a social investor. He is also the founder of Veditum, a non-profit research and media organisation that undertakes projects on cultural and environmental issues, seeking to raise awareness about and benefit marginalised communities. From June to October 2016, he walked 2000 km along the banks of the river Ganga, starting out from the ocean at Sagar island in West Bengal till Garhmukteshwar in Uttar Pradesh, in an effort to bring the stories and social problems along the river to the mainstream. He has also been featured in The Times of India, DNA and YourStory.
Sudhanshu Kaushik

Sudhanshu Kaushik founded the Young India Foundation, which is currently running its first campaign called Age of Candidacy, aiming to bring the age of candidacy for MPs/MLAs in India from 25 to at least 21, if not 18. Currently an MSc student at New York University studying about modern South Asia, Kaushik has written a book about Haryana's Dichotomy in the 21st Century which is slated to release in February. He is also the co-founder of Qissa Bazaar, a South Asian Journal and Literary Magazine focused on advancing interest of South Asia and promoting South Asian talent.
