In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Fashionista

Seeing things for what they are, is not enough. Being in places to say you’ve been, isn’t living. Buying labels for their labels, isn’t fashion. Consuming just to own, isn’t fulfilling. Carmela Myles Masika; A creator and a designer in the making who loves to share thoughts, travel stories, and opinions. Today she will be sharing with her ideas about why Mental health and Fashion are related, are important, and infectious to our societies. Carmela will share with us her personal experience, challenge us, and allow us to revel in the two topics least frequented although they affect our daily lives.

Thinker of Life

Yuri is a MSc graduate from University College London. He studied Psychology in University of Hong Kong, and afterwards worked in consulting industry for 2 years. Aside, Yuri loves Chinese calligraphy, tea and thinking about the Aristotle first principles. He is also an initiator of various community projects, the Internet social experiment, and Youth I.D.E.A.S, a think tank based in Hong Kong.
