In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Diana Schachner is a psychologist with a degree from Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello. She is now the head of Recruitment and Happiness at Lemontech. Through her various experiences as a mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister, and psychologist, she has drawn a conclusion on being successful in life.

Francisco Cortés

Francisco Cortés, graduado del Colegio Nido de Águilas el año 2000, hoy psicólogo clínico especialista en psicoterapia Humanista - Transpersonal de la Universidad Diego Portales, con un Diplomado en Coaching Ejecutivo de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. En su experiencia profesional ha trabajado con psicopatologías complejas y adicciones. También ha escrito y publicado artículos sobre mindfulness y habilidades parentales.

Giuliana Bertoia

Giuliana Bertoia is a Global Citizens Youth Ambassador and a rising Senior at Nido de Aguilas. Inspired by ancestry from Chile’s Easter Island, she investigates the role of the supernatural as a way of creating unities between different cultures across the globe.

Holly Guthrey

Dr. Holly Guthrey is a research fellow at the Hugo Valentin Center at Uppsala University in Sweden. In order to explore the effects of transitional justice around the world, she has traveled to Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, and Chile.

Maximiliano Salinas

Maximiliano Salinas is a lawyer who works in the current Chilean government and a volunteer firefighter in Chile. His passion and experience in the Fire Department has allowed him to learn the essence of community service.

Rodolfo Collado

Rodolfo Collado era un profesor de educación física del colegio Nido de Águilas entre los años 1963-2003. Ahora, a los 79 años, es el director del grupo espectáculo “Los Abuelos de Chile,” el cual tiene la intención de realizar una innovación social con intervención exógena en grupos sociales con vulnerabilidad y llevar ésta actividad artística a la comunidad de adultos mayores, adultos y jóvenes universitarios. Éste cuenta con diez miembros con un promedio de edad 82 años y han tenido giras alrededor del mundo, como por ejemplo en los Estados Unidos, Francia y Chile. Rodolfo ha tenido amplia experiencia trabajando con adultos mayores.

Sean Lim

As a national medalist in swimming, Sean strives to balance his time efficiently for academic success alongside his decorated swimming career. Sean takes advantage of his day that may be longer than his classmates’ as he wakes up hours earlier to start his day in the pool.

Tomás Crozier

Tomás Crozier is a drummer who plays for and is Vice President of the the Modern Music Masters’ Honour Society. He is also a part of the House Band in School of Rock, and has played in front of audiences of over 8000 people in large public venues. Being a high school Senior, Tomás understands the importance of finding the balance between being a student and a musician, and speaks about its importance in pursuing passions in life.

Tzandra Fuchs

Dra. Tzandra Fuchs es médico de la Universidad de Chile con un master en Medicina Estética Internacional AAAMIS, una Diploma en Medina Aging PACAM, AAAM y una Diploma en Medicina Regenerativa Regenestem, Adistem, Iscelli.
