This salon event, hosted at Lehigh Valley Health Network's Mack Boulevard Auditorium is open to the public. We invite those interested in BIG NEW ideas worth spreading centering on the topics of: Connected Medicine, Empathy, and Leadership. There will be room for ~250. It's a ticketed event and though all are welcome, we especially invite young professionals in the Lehigh Valley to come explore your human connections!

Ashley Miller

Ashley Miller manages digital and social media marketing at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) where she has been instrumental in launching new technologies for online advertising, lead generation, patient acquisition and retention and marketing automation. A self proclaimed, “X-ennial”, Miller has experienced life before and after the internet and social media revolution and sees value in both traditional and digital communication. With a background working with nonprofits and armed with a bachelors in communication and an MBA, Miller is determined to bridge generational gaps and break down conversation barriers within the health care industry.

Craig Durie

Craig Durie is a palliative care nurse practitioner seeing patients challenged by complex, lifelimiting illness in the acute care setting. He is a field innovator dedicated to improving access for the rural population through novel uses of telehealth. He has worked as an educator, health care access lobbyist, entrepreneur, and clinician in roles such as organ transplant coordinator, colorectal surgery, and palliative care. Outside of work he enjoys kayaking, running, and until fatherhood, hang-gliding.

Jason Linett

Nani Cuadrado

Nani Cuadrado began working as a physician assistant (PA) at a local emergency department 15 years ago. She recognized the homeless crisis within her own community. Six years ago she began volunteering to provide free healthcare to homeless men at a local shelter. As an assistant professor, she taught graduate PA students and spearheaded efforts to provide free health care to a local residential home for sex-trafficked women. She serves as a board member for a local coalition against sex-trafficking and trains health care personnel about the close relationship between homelessness and human trafficking. She is the first PA asked to join a national commission against human trafficking for the Christian Medical Dental Association. Four years ago she established a PA team to provide health care for unaccompanied minors victims of human trafficking (mostly from Central America) who are at risk for homelessness. Today, she is the acting program director for the Lehigh Valley Health Network Street Medicine team, providing a continuum of care to the community’s most vulnerable.

Raymond Singer, MD, MMM, CPE

Raymond L. Singer is a cardiothoracic surgeon on the medical staff at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) since 1992 and is currently the Physician in Chief for the LVHN Institute for Special Surgery. He is the former Chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vice Chair of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Surgery. Dr. Singer has served as the Chair of the Department of Surgery Quality Committee and the Surgical Director for the Charles Chrin Regional Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Singer currently serves on the Executive Council of the Air Products Center for Connected Care and Innovation and the LVHN Board of Trustees Development Committee. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Beyond his professional affiliations, Dr. Singer takes and active role in th Lehigh Valley community. Dr. Singer is a member of the Board of Directors for Health Network Laboratories, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is a Past-President of the Pennsylvania Association for Thoracic Surgery and Past-President of the Lehigh County Medical Society. Dr. Singer is a member of the Muhlenberg College, President’s Advisory Council, and has served on the College’s Board of Trustees, as well as the Board of Trustees of Congregation Keneseth Israel in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
