This is the second in a series of monthly meetings organized around community resilience, which is the theme for our December 9th TEDxTucson event.
This month we're featuring chef Janos Wilder who will be speaking on what we need to do to grow the local food movement.
Reggie Smith of Westwind Seeds will speak about making local food from seeds in your own back yard.
Robert Ojeda will speak about his vision for cultivating neighborhood urban agriculture and community gardens as a way to reduce people's reliance upon the Tucson Community Food Bank.
Other speakers TBD. The event starts at 6 PM, we expect it to run for approximately 1 hour. No food or drinks will be served in the Red Room but attendees are encouraged to stay for a meal after the talks.
