Moral Injury is the focus of a TEDx Salon event on Tuesday, April 10th at 5:30 pm at the Worcester Historical Museum’s Fletcher Auditorium, 30 Elm Street, Worcester (See below for parking suggestions).

The Worcester Education Collaborative invites you to join us for this fifth event in the series on Trauma and Learning. This gathering will focus on Moral Injury. A light supper will be served at 5:30; program starts at 6 pm with a talk by Denise Richardson, Senior Faculty member with Project Welcome Home Troops and the International Association of Human Values, followed by the TED Talk and discussion. The program will end between 7:30 and 8pm.

Denise Richardson

Senior Faculty Member of Project Welcome Home Troops and the International Association of Human Values
Denise Richardson is a senior faculty member with the International Association for Human Values and Project Welcome Home Troops. These are non-profit humanitarian organizations that provide educational programs in stress management and self-development, and undertake service projects around the globe in the areas of conflict resolution, disaster and trauma relief, empowerment for women, prisoner rehabilitation and organizational excellence. For the past 25 years, Denise has personally taught thousands of people from all walks of life how to use simple breathing and meditation techniques to conquer stress and increase their capacity to bring positive energy into their daily interactions. She has also led programs for people dealing with cancer or depression as well as specialized programs for military veterans. Denise resides in Connecticut with her husband and two grown children.
