In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Her ideas and contributions as a youth marketer have been developing since her early involvement in the HDI Youth Marketing as a Junior Board Member. Amonge is passionate about cultivating young minds and stimulating youth entrepreneurship. She currently curates workshops of youth focus groups on various societal topics namely: Youth Activism, Women Leadership, Women and Children’s Rights, Non-racial and Non-sexist society, Youth Trends & Social Media, Evolving Culture, Generation Gap, Politics and Future possibilities etc. As she heads towards the end of her high school career, she plans on majoring in Social Entreprenuership in order to develop her tools to tell her generation’s stories and minoring in theatre because she is passionate about utilising the arts to mobilise nations.
