TEDxOguiRoad was created in the belief that exposing young people to new ideas can enable them to see the boundless opportunities that exist around them in various spheres of life. TEDxOguiRoad is a volunteer-only organization, and as such organisers, volunteers and speakers are not paid. Instead, we offer a community and platform for sharing unique life changing ideas to inspire people to act and build a better community, and by extension, world. Our mission is to create an enabling environment for young people to be exposed to mind broadening ideas and opportunities and to ensure development at a personal and communal level.

Ifeanyi Nsofor

CEO, EpiAfric

Dr. Ifeanyi Nsofor is a 2018 New Voices Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He is the CEO of EpiAFRIC and Director of Policy and Advocacy at Nigeria Health Watch. With 20 years post-graduation experience in global health, Ifeanyi has worked in government, non-profit and for-profit sectors in the health space. He is a leading advocate for Universal Health Coverage in Nigeria. This means he wants every Nigerian NOT to suffer financial hardship to access quality healthcare. He pushes for use of technology to democratise health.

Ike Chioke

Group Managing Director, Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited

Ike Chioke is Group Managing Director, Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited. He is also Chairman of the FSS 2020 Capital Markets Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria and also as a member of the Bond Market Steering Committee of the Federal Debt Management Office. He is the 2nd Vice President of the Association of Issuing Houses of Nigeria, National Secretary of the Rhodes Scholarship for West Africa, member of the Board of American University of Nigeria and a member of the board of ServiPower Company Limited.

Kelechi Nwosu

MD, TBWA

For over two decades, Kelechi Nwosu has proved himself a force to be reckoned with in the field of advertising. This has led him to serve as the President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) from 2014 to 2016. He currently works as the Managing Director of TBWA/Concept and under is leadership the agency launched the iconic Proudly Made In Aba campaign in 2017.

Okey Nwuke

Deputy Group Managing Director, Coscharis Group

Dr Okey Nwuke is the deputy group managing director of the Coscharis group. With over 27 years of experience in the field of corporate finance/ accounting, he has held various leadership roles in his field, from working as the executive director of Access bank from 2004 to 2013 to serving as the chairman of the board of directors of access banks subsidiaries in Rwanda and Burundi. He currently chairs the Shareholders Audit Committee of NASCON plc along with his position at Coscharis.

Tochukwu Clinton Chukwueke

Inventor and Change Agent

Tochukwu Chukwueke is an inventor with several patents and tech entrepreneur. He is the founder of several technology firms including Clinotel Innovation Centre (CIC) - the 1st indigenous Makerspace in Nigeria and Hardware Nigeria Community (HNC) - a nationwide network of Nigerian inventors, makers and hardware entrepreneurs and is the CEO of Clinotel Technology - a manufacturing & advanced engineering company.

Ujuaku Akukwe-Nwakalor

Documentary Film Director/Producer

Ujuaku is a multiple award winning documentary film Director/Producer. Her area of expertise and practice cut across Social works & Creative industries. She is the CEO of Frances-Ashley Media, a Managing Partner of Leaps Bound Entertainment Ltd, a Social Entrepreneur and an advocate for positive parenting. She was honoured with the Nigeria Women Entrepreneur Award for her contribution to positive parenting through her project “Polishing the Diamonds” and recently received a Certificate of Recognition from California Legislature Assembly for using film as a vehicle for community engagement and education. She is an Alumnae of the University of Nigeria and the New York Film Academy. Ujuaku is the author of Nuts & Bolts of Parenting and has spoken on various platforms. She is a mum to three teen girls, with a contagious laughter and loves to dance.
