In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ateş Barut

Ateş Barut is a highly esteemed veterinarian. He is a graduate, master and doctorate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Ankara. İn 2015 he opened what became the largest medical centre for animal care in Turkey: Petcode Animal Hospital in Ankara. He is currently working as the clinical chief and the head surgeon of the hospital. He is an active member of European Veterinary Neurology society. He has received the "Most Successful Man of Science Award" from Turkish veterinary orthopaedics and traumatology association in 2017.

Boran Kuzum

Boran Kuzum is a Turkish actor. He studied performing arts in the public arts University of İstanbul. His first appearance on television was in 2015 in the series Analar ve Anneler. Later in 2016 he played the role of 1. Mustafa on Muhteşem Yüzyıl. However, his breakthrough performance was his role as Leon in the series Vatanım Sensin.

Kerem Özmen

Kerem Özmen is currently a junior partner at Kairos and director of the K50, an annual recognition of the 50 most innovative seed-stage companies founded by young entrepreneurs around the world. He is the managing director of Özmen Ventures designing the projects of healthcare, aerospace and aviation. He has a wide range of expertise including telemedicine, mechanical engineering, information technologies, program management, and business development. He has become a strategic investor, investing with both profit and social impact in mind.

Marcos Tunç Güleryüz

Marcos is BLİS student. He is a delight to have in our community. He has had the opportunity to travel the world and experience living in various countries. He has acquired great, unique knowledge from his experiences and his developing inquiries.

Maria Brzozowska

Maria Brzozowska was born in Poland in 1992. İn 2013 she graduated from Leeds College. She completed her graduate degree in visual design. Her art is centred around the theme of combining elements of reality and fantasy to create a narrative.

Murat Karahan

Murat Karahan is an opera singer, currently the general director of the Turkish State Opera and Ballet. His primary and secondary education was at TED Ankara College. He was eventually accepted to the Faculty of Music and Performing arts at Bilkent University. He started as a solo performer for the Ankara State Opera and Ballet in 2003. İn 2014 he was given the award of Male Opera Performer of the Year by the Donizetti Classical Music Awards. Over the years he has been credited with many first in the opera community. He has performed all over the world and in 2017 he established the Limak philharmonic orchestra.

Selçuk Topal

Selçuk Topal is an esteemed astrophysicist. He completed his undergraduate and master degrees in the university of Ankara studying the fields of astronomy and space. He developed his doctorate in the university of Oxford studying the field of astrophysics. He has been a physics professor in YYÜ Van since 2017. He is an active academic: travelling over 21 cities and giving talks to more than 300 000 people.

Tuba Ünsal

Tuba Ünsal is a Turkish actress and producer. She finished her higher education at İstanbul Bilgi University and continued her acting studies at Stella Adler Academy in L.A.. She was the star of her show, written and named after her "Vizontele Tuuba". She performed in Turkey's first ever digital film "The Watercolour". İn recent years, she founded the "To be House of Production" her own production company.
