In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ms.Yaqoob is a blogger and motivational speaker too, she covers various sensitive and taboo issues of the society including sexual and gender minroties. She has author and co-author number of research papers for both national and international forums.

Yasir Jaswal

Singer, Writer, Filmmaker, Music Director and Restaurateur

Yasir Jaswal is a Pakistani singer, writer, filmmaker, multi award-winning music director and a restaurateur. He was the lead singer for the band Irtaash and also led Call briefly as a vocalist. In 2015, he made his feature film debut with Jalaibee. He currently pursues his passion for film through directing music videos which have earned him multiple accolades including a LUX Style Award 2014 and HUM Style Award 2016. Jaswal has, since last year, ventured into the culinary business through his venture Jessie’s; a reputable burger joint in Islamabad and Lahore.
