Theme: Observably Random

Observably Random’ is a celebration of the random and chaotic nature of our world. An observance into the world of causation and association. For inspiration, we turned to our city. A metropolitan hodgepodge of people moving about their daily lives. Their lives intersecting, conjoining, entwining but mostly parallel, never meeting. An intricate, delicate web spread across the city; a web swaying haphazardly in the wind. A series of complex connections influencing one another, either directly or as an aftermath of a chain reaction. At the centre of these chain reactions, seemed an object of little importance. An object overlooked. At first glance, trivial but upon closer inspection, it grabbed attention. So heavily interlaced in every aspect of living that it had been taken for granted.
