Beth Morrison
CATCH Graduate and Survivor
Beth is a 2018 CATCH graduate. She is currently a undergrad student at Columbus State Community College working toward her Associates of Arts Degree. She is passionate about educating others on the perceptions and ways of thinking on the impact of trauma and human trafficking, and she works as an advocate, creating mentorship opportunities for trafficking survivors.
Mikhail Moore
Mikhail is an employee at Adecco Honda and plans on continuing a career at the Honda of America Marysville plant. He hopes that he and his mother’s story will help inspire other to help reach out to their communities to improve life. He is a firm believer in second chances and hopes his story can show that even with a little support we can all help ourselves, our families, and our communities achieve their goals.
Paul Herbert
Judge
Judge Paul Herbert is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School, and has been working as a judge in the Franklin County Municipal Court since 2003. In 2009, he proposed a specialized program focusing on Human Trafficking victims who have been charged with the misdemeanor offense of solicitation, and from this, CATCH was started. Judge Herbert lives in Columbus with his wife Barb and two daughters.
Vanessa Perkins
Bailiff and Survivor
Vanessa Perkins was raised in Nelsonville Ohio. She is a survivor of sex trafficking and drug addiction. Worked for the Columbus City Attorney's office for the last 5 years and currently works as Judge Herberts bailiff. She currently serves as an advocate for other survivors as well as addicts.
