Divya Narayanan
Divya Narayanan is an activist with a background in public health and human rights. She has been working on environment and social justice issues for a few years now. At Jhatkaa (a new campaigning organisation committed to building grassroots citizen power across India in effective and innovative ways), Divya manages digital campaigns for public mobilisation around air pollution and climate change.
Nikita Chawda
Nikita Chawda, currently a freelance Artist is a Triple Major in Psychology, Economics and Sociology from Christ University. Post her graduation she decided to take a break from her education and follow her passion, Art. She created her page Art by Nikita Chawda and has completed a short-term Art Course at Chitrakala Parikshath and has an ongoing introductory course on Graphic Design offered by California Institute of Arts. Nikita currently works as a freelance artist creating commission pieces for clients and conducting workshops for children at VR Bengaluru (in collaboration with ChotuPainter) and for Adults on varied art forms.
Riccha Paul
An engineer by education, Riccha chose to make a living using her creative talents. She has fronted several bands in the city, worked with affluent music and film directors and has lent her voice to some of the most frequently played jingles on the radio. Apart from that she successfully ran a home baking business called PO Box Nine, curated events for many popular watering holes in Bangalore and also wrote environmentally conscious pieces for the online publication RoundGlass Sustain. A mixed bag of careers, she truly broke a few rules and pursues all her dreams without inhibition.
Sanchana Krishnan
Sanchana Krishnan, a mental health activist who founded Okay; Not Okay, an initiative to smash the silence around mental health in India. A lifetime with bipolar disorder has opened her mind to the multitude of human experiences and allowed her to master the art of difficult conversations that are so important for good mental health. She intends to study to become a therapist - just not one that remains within the four walls of a clinic! She's a true child of the ocean and advocates for the healing powers of travel, books, and chai.
Smriti Singh
"Who said you have to be the master of something when you can be the jack of all? You have one life, Experience it" _ That's the motto of Smriti's life!
Despite being a double graduate and graduating with honors Smriti chose to become a bartender not because she wanted to but because she had to as it was hard to maintain a financial balance as a sport climber. Smriti has around 14 national medals in sport climbing and has also won a bronze in the Asian open. In 2016 Smriti also won a silver in a mixology (bartending ) competition. Flair bartending is a form of flow arts and her love for fire and movement led Smriti to explore more options and now she is a fire flow artist. Smriti is also working on creating a lifestyle channel on YouTube to help create awareness about choices we make and their consequences.
Vaishnavi Rajan
Vaishnavi Rajan - the founder of BOHAAT Coffee, was inspired by this concept during her stint at a health & wellness startup in Bangalore. While heading their B2B business, she acquired a strong grasp of the basics of true nutrition from several diet specialists and nutrition experts. Interacting with their customers who eventually gained substantial health results, Vaishnavi was intrigued to learn more about the LCHF concept. An in-depth study of the Indian beverage market led her to the idea of creating a high-energy coffee. Vaishnavi is now pursuing her passion of building a healthier community. Vaishnavi is also a fashion stylist.
