In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ashvin Kumar

A visionary geek, Mithun Pangal focuses on enabling ideas and has tons of patents to his name. Innovator, inventor and CTO of custom technologies, he has worked in a multitude of industries including, but not limited to game development, FX development, AR and R&D. He has constantly worked on groundbreaking technologies from scratch.

Muki Sablania

Muki Sablania had never learned music or even had the fleeting thought that music would someday change everything about his life. Muki was enjoying the good old corporate life when a change in events made give up his career at a big advertising agency. After the handpan found him, he traveled all over the country and met numerous artists from all over the world and collaborated with them. His stories of travel and how he wishes to heal the world through his music are something you don’t want to miss out on.

Natasha Malpani Oswal

Natasha Malpani Oswal is a big believer in the power of storytelling. She currently leads Dice Media, a fast growing media startup in Mumbai. She holds an MBA from Stanford, and Masters degrees from Oxford and Cambridge. Natasha loves building startups, and has worked on four startups between Silicon Valley, London and India. She previously worked in impact investing and cancer research.

Nilesh Kulkarni

Nilesh Kulkarni,has been the only Indian bowler to take a wicket with the first ball of his debut Test match. He is currently the director of IISM, a leading edge sports management institute, which helps young aspirants blend their passion for sports with academia and build their profession out of it.

Teenasai Balamu

At the age of 21, Rolling Stones India featured Teenasai Balamu in their magazine as one of the few solo Indie folk artists in India. She might be one of the many young singer-songwriters on the circuit but her unhurried acoustic style and general striking stage presence makes her someone to watch out for. Besides being a musician, she is also an active campaigner of the #thepride movement and a vocal supporter of gender neutrality in India.
