The first half of the event would be focused on conveying the techniques and aspects associated with a good speaker and how this could be incorporated in different spheres of professional life. Especially in academic and corporate scenarios including improving on interview and presentation skills. This would be based on Toastmaster’s proven education programme.
The workshop would encourage hands on audience participation. As such, they would be called upon on to evaluate a speech. This would be followed by the final section of the night: ‘Table Topics’ which would involve an impromptu speaking session by the audience on a whole range of topics. The event shall also include opportunities to network.
This promises to be an evening which is sure to challenge yet excite the audience by encouraging them to leave their comfort zones, push their boundaries and come out of this event with a better understanding of their own abilities and inner confidence.
