Theme: The Stone

In Greek mythology, a story was told about a king, "Sisyphus", who has been condemned to push a huge stone to the top of a mountain. Each time he makes it to the top, the stone rolls back to the bottom, and he runs after it to push it back up… and so on. It's a tragedy that shall last forever.

The French writer and philosopher Albert Camus once said in one of his writings, that "We must imagine Sisyphus happy"... For it's not just "Sisyphus" who has a "stone"; every single one of us has their own stone, one that they have to wake up every day and push towards the mountain's summit, and the day ends with them running down after it.

The reason why we keep doing this isn't because we love to suffer, it's because the journey itself, from the bottom to the top and vice versa, contains all the joy we need.
