Alexandra Koniak
Alexandra Koniak is a singer and musician. She studied classical violin at the International Conservatory of Athens and received a diploma in Contemporary Singing from the Conservatory of Philippos Nakas. She has performed in musical and theatrical stages inside and outside Athens and has collaborated with many well-known artists, while also being a vocal coach.
Ermis Zacharopoulos
My name is Ermis Zacharopoulos and I am a senior at the Department of Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (for a long time now). I am the creator of www.robotaki.gr and I love technology, sciences, and stand-up comedy. As a student, I had been in the Youth Parliament and later in the Theatrical Group of the Athens University of Economics and Business. I have taken part in various festivals for the openness of science doing Stand-up Science (and talking incessantly) like the Athens Science Festival, the Athens Digital Art Festival at the Night of the Researcher and so on, as a member of the team of Science Reactors. I won at the competition of communication of the Science Famelab Greece at 2009 and in June I will be a part of the respective international competition. I like gaming, I keep notes all the time, I do photoshop to unwind and I have learnt English by playing Pokémon at the Gameboy. They call me “IT boy” and hacker but the truth is that I am only searching on Google.

Jean Didier Totow Tom- Ata
Jean Didier Totow Tom- Ata is a young, energetic, ambitious and optimistic person. He comes from Congo and he lives in Greece for the last 7 years. During this period he has achieved a lot of admirable things. He is the President of the Congolian Committee in Greece and the Vice President of the Greek Forum of Refugees. He is a graduate of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus, a postgraduate student in advanced systems of IT and a Researcher in the Research Centre of the University of Piraeus dealing with “big data”. Busy, studious, well-composed and dedicated fully to his goals. He speaks 6 languages. An important characteristic of his mentality is that there are no problems rather challenges. His faith in the creation of a world where everybody will live peacefully and harmoniously acts as a guide for his motives and actions.

Katrina Tsantali
Katrina Tsantali was born and raised in Thessaloniki. From when she was a little girl she loved the animals and nature! She spent her student years in London, where she studied Business Administration and Marketing. She came back to Greece in 2010 and until today, she works at her family business - a winery of the same name. At the same time, she devotes time at the things that she loves. Among them, an important part is animal welfare, the collaboration with many organization and her active support toward them. Since she was a girl, she liked to express herself through writing. Her two first books, distributed from Dioptra Editions, “The Little Sophie and Do” on the subject of animal welfare and “The little boy and the 4 eggs” concerning the issue of (non) diversity.
Maria Kofou
Maria Kofou is a full-time travel blogger and experience designer. She loves traveling so she created the travel blog Tstories.gr in 2012, the first Greek blog with suggestions for alternative traveling destinations, advice and useful tips for wanderings within and outside of Europe. She studied at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture at the Panteion University of Athens, she lived for a year in Spain and then she did a Master’s degree at Digital Media and Communication in Italy. She lived and worked for 3 years in Milan in the area of Digital PR as an Account Manager, while the last 6 years she does business in Athens, from where she plans and executes with great enthusiasm all of her trips. Since December of 2017, she started her own travel startup, which organizes trips for groups consisting of solo women.
Maria Maragozidou
Maria Maragozidou is a graduate of the Department of Surveying Engineering and Geoinformatics at the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia. She has worked for many years in the food sector, as well as in public relations. She is currently a partner of the funeral Home “Teletai Boukouras” which constitutes a (digital) marketing phenomenon. The business’ Facebook page counts more than 50,000 likes and its content is spot-on, creative, totally humorous and… morbid.
Maria Juliana Byck
Maria Juliana Byck is an ethical fashion designer, poet, experimental filmmaker, and social practitioner engaging through video, installation, social interventions and place-based collaborations. Her current project, House of Refashion, reconstructs used clothing into new forms. As a place-based practice, the process of refashion designing calls attention to the possibilities of working with materials that already exist to counteract systemic exploitation, waste and pollution embedded in the global textile industry. To resist the overconsumption encouraged by fast fashion by slow downing and enjoying the process of design and engagement with textiles, she hosts a Creative Reuse project in collaboration with Khora Freeshop and Victoria Square Project. Designed to create community through crafting, sharing new and traditional techniques in clothing repair, redesign and alterations, weekly skill shares and a monthly clothing swap bring people together to create rather than consume, fostering togetherness, rather than the expanding void.

He started the first entrepreneurship club in the UoP by becoming a member of Mindspace, a NPO that promotes entrepreneurship in the university, he founded the Patras Chapter and have worked closely with the university office of Research & Innovation. He also participated in MIT Bootcamp on I&Ε 2018 and ran a crowdfunding campaign called ”Odyssey to MIT”, raising over 10K euro in 4 weeks.
He is a passionate maker, having developed a personal smart-home assistant by converting his old apartment into a smart-home. He is actively researching in the University of Patras NAM & APEL groups in the interconnection of IoT and Distributed Ledger Technologies.

Payam Barnaghi
Payam Barnaghi was born and grew up in Mianeh, a small town in northwest Iran. He studied computer science and obtained his PhD in Artificial Intelligence in 2007. He is currently Professor of Machine Intelligence in the Centre for Vision, Speech and SignalProcessing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey. He works on the development of new machine learning and semantic computing algorithms and techniques for future internet and web systems, with a focus on Internet of Things, time-series data analysis, information search and retrieval and their applications in healthcare and smart cities. He is Technical Lead of theNHS/Department of Health funded Technology Integrated Healthcare Management (TIHM) for Dementia project and Deputy Director of the Care Research and Technology Centre at the UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI).
