Kick off Women's History Month by joining us for our second TEDxPhiladelphiaSalon of 2019, themed Girls Run the World, on Monday, March 4th at World Cafe Live from 5:30-9:00pm, with our talks starting at 6:30pm.
Celebrate, explore, and unpack how “Girls Run The World” with a screening of a past TED talk on women empowerment and a LIVE talk from Marcella Hudson, co-founder and program director of beGirl World, a Philadelphia based non-profit organization that empowers teenage girls through global education and travel.
Women’s History Month 2019 is the perfect platform for this TEDxPhiladelphiaSalon, as we delve into how girls and young women can be inspired to take their place in a world. How do we build their confidence and spark their passion? Who will mentor them? What tools do the next generation need to dream big and aim high?
