TEDxVeteransAffairs was established in 2018 by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Month Committee. It is now led by VA Voluntary Service (under the Veterans Health Administration's Office of Communication) with support for HRA, OSP, OIT, ODI, and the Office of the Secretary. The program will be filmed and then made available to all employees via the Talent Management System (TMS) by using a TMS ID number or searching TEDx.
Previous talks have included the Value of Customer Service, How to Make VA the Best Place to Work in Government, Why Millennials Make Great Public Servants, The Future of HRIT, Innovation at VHA, How to Better Serve Women Veterans, WILL-Power, and What to Do When You Meet a Veteran in Crisis. The 2019 program promises to be just as rewarding.
This is a great way to boost employee engagement and morale, with short powerful talks. Each event continues to find and promote topics regarding innovation, stories that can benefit all employees, and ideas worth sharing! Tickets Required.
