In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@CanadianIntlSchool, where x is an independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@CanadianIntlSchool event, TEDTalks combine video and live speakers to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. Through TEDx youth, we establish a strong connection with world problems. TTEDxYouth provides the students to further improve their research and communication skills, it further provides an outlet for students to research topics that may not have been studied in the curriculum.
