Dengan jargon “ide nan patuik dibagi”, TEDxBatangArau adalah program acara lokal yang kelola sendiri yang menyatukan orang untuk berbagi pengalaman seperti acara TED. Pada acara TEDxBatangArau, video TEDTalks dan pembicara bergabung untuk memicu diskusi yang mendalam dan berjejaring dalam sebuah kelompok. Acara lokal yang dikelola sendiri ini diberi merek TEDx, di mana x = acara TED yang diselenggarakan secara independen.

Muhammad Ramzy Muliawan is a student and a debater. He studies at Faculty of Law, Universitas Andalas. Scholarship recipient of Kennedy-Lugar YES Program from U.S. Foreign Ministry, 2016-17. Starting to argue since high school, now he is active at the Andalas Debating Society and the Andalas International Moot Court Society. Andalas University Representative for Indonesian National Rounds, Phillip C. Jessup International Moout Court Competition (2019) at Pelita Harapan University, Tangerang, and National University Debating Championship (NUDC) 2019 at Airlangga University, Surabaya. He also likes to write many things at Pandit Football Indonesia, Detik, and The Jakarta Post.

Nadia Theodora is a pianist and currently a Senior High School student at Methodist Charles Wesley in Medan. Her piano composition “Saltare cum Umbra” was chosen to be played at Yamaha national level in Jakarta 2017. She gained the 1st winner of American Protégé 2017 and performed in Carnegie Hall, New York.

Pratik Renuse is a consultant, investor, entrepreneur working in Amsterdam who has helped build businesses go from 0 to over $ 2 million in yearly revenue. Prior to entrepreneurship, he worked at Airbus and Bayer where he was working with the senior management teams. He is now launching the world's first startup marketing incubator and is an avid public speaker, executive board member of Amsterdam Toastmasters International and host of several personal development meetups in Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.
