Bella Glanville

Bella Glanville is an international model, coach and founder of the 'Lovekidz' foundation. She grew up in London, where she has worked with companies such as Stella Mccartney, Topshop, Nike and Vogue. She is also the founder and editor in chief of Motivate magazine. Additionally, Bella is a motivational speaker and spoke at TEDxPSU, TEDxACU and now TEDx at King’s College London, where she is studying Psychology.

Jack Sheppard

Jack Sheppard is a second-year Film student at King’s College London. Originally from Bedfordshire, his talk is on the importance of film representation and spectatorship.

Joy Hamati

Joy Hamati is a BSc Psychology student at King’s College London. She has always had a passion in voicing important issues. In her previous talks she discussed racism, sexism and ageism, and now through her first TEDx talk has brought the discussion of Mental Health Stigma to the table. Joy utilized her accreditation in Psychological First Aid from John Hopkins University and her experiences in mental health treatments to convey this important message. Having experienced stigma towards therapy in middle eastern countries during her training, she wanted to deliver a socioeconomic story portraying the reality of mental health illnesses. Her goal was to reach out to those experiencing mental health problems and to involve the community in understanding their journey.

Lauren Church

Lauren is doing her MSc Space Physiology and Health at King's College London. She chose to do a TEDx talk because what she does and what she wants to do isn't something that's generally talked about; when people think of space exploration they think of astronauts and rockets and robots, not the people behind the scenes keeping everyone healthy! It's something she has been passionate about for so long that she was so glad to have a platform through which to share with others.

Sara Al Khashlok

Sara Al Khashlok was born in Athens, Greece to Iraqi parents. Growing up with a multilingual background, she used her knowledge to help and translate during the Refugee Crisis. Sara now studies Law at King's College London, with the hopes to one day become a UN advocate for human rights.
