Theme: Race To Infinity

TEDxSMIT is back with its fifth edition, "Race to Infinity". The theme rightly portrays the need to constantly work towards successes. On one hand, we talk about the infinite possibilities in this life and on the other hand we are running a race in our minds to be the first one to grab that opportunity, to be the first one to find that life-changing possibility. We get so lost in reaching the end first, that the motive of living this journey of life gets lost in the way. It's time to understand that there are endless opportunities, endless moments in this loop of an infinite timeline but the end is unpredictable, so why run for something that is at infinity when we can enjoy and live this Race to Infinity. That's why we at TEDxSMIT say that it's easier said than done and maybe now is the time to find the right direction of this endless Race to Infinity.

Akhil Suhag

CEO and Founder,FanFight

With a strong belief in trying multiple times and not giving up, our last but not least speaker is a sports enthusiast and is a role model for people who aim in building their own startups. Akhil Suhag, an esteemed alumnus of the institute is the CEO and founder of Fanfight, which is a seed-funded sports startup aiming to revolutionize fantasy sports in India. He helped build and launched Laundr.ie, Ireland's biggest on-demand laundry startup, while working as a Senior Financial Analyst in Europe during his pre-Fanfight avatar.

Gaurav Gambhir

Beatboxer (aka D-Cypher)

Gaurav Gambhir, popularly known as D-Cypher is a crucial part of the Mumbai based hip hop crew-Bombay Lokal, making him one of the most skilled and reputed beatboxers in India. He has contributed to two tracks from the revelating movie, "Gully Boy" and was presented as the Vice-Champion at the Indian Beatbox Championship held at Bangalore in 2018. He is also the assistant producer at ATKT.in. Gaurav has a vision set to empower the underground scene of beatboxing in India.

Due to his experience in his field of work and expertise, he has been regularly invited to consult B2B enterprises and startups on their marketing strategy. Our speaker is not only well known in the corporate world but also is an avid traveller, sports fanatic and guitarist. Mr Promit aims to contribute and explore as many fields as possible and hence he is also a part of multiple CMO forums in India.

Interested in reading and travelling, our second speaker is an international award-winning graphic designer who can be looked upon to. Shweta Ratanpura is the first-ever Indian female to win a medal at WorldSkills event in Russia’s Kazan. A graphic design student from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad she has made the entire nation rejoice with the victory. She is an avid traveller and has represented India in various platforms. Apart from international recognition, she has bagged many national and local level awards in the same field. It is her dedication and determination that at such a young age she has achieved a lot, making her story worth sharing.
