Sports Psychologist
Dr. Joel Fish is a licensed psychologist and a nationally recognized expert in sport psychology who has worked in the field for over 30 years. He has worked extensively with athletes of all ages and skills levels, from youth sport through the Olympic and professional ranks. Dr. Fish has been a sport psychology consultant for the Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Phillies Organization, the USA Women’s National Field Hockey Team, and the USA Women’s National Soccer Team. Dr. Fish has also served as a sport psychology consultant for the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Saint Joseph’s University, and numerous other universities.

Jeremy Benoit is a native New Englander, hailing from the great state of New Hampshire. After applying to nearly 100 collegiate athletics positions all over the country as he finished up graduate school at Castleton University, where he also played four years of college football, Jeremy landed at Goldey-Beacom College as the Compliance Specialist in August, 2015. Four years, three promotions, and several major departmental and institutional improvements later, he has laid a great foundation for his career and his impact on the College and its students continues to grow. Jeremy's student-centered focus is what collegiate athletics and the small college experience is all about.

Jono Hooper is a current student athlete at Goldey-Beacom College, studying in the Doctor of Business Administration Program and competing in Track & Field. Jono traveled from Australia to Indian Hills Community College in southeast Iowa to compete in collegiate Cross Country and Track & Field.

I am currently a senior at Goldey-Beacom college majoring in Psychology. I plan to graduate in the Fall of 2020 and then pursue a masters and doctorate in clinical psychology to one day become a sports psychologist. In high school I was always involved in sports at the school and on travel teams. My high school team was Susquehanna Champions in 2014 and my travel team Delaware Rush were state champions every year. My individual accomplishments in high school include being names All-County first and second team and was named team captain of her team. In travel soccer I was captain of my team, I was selected for Rush Select, and I also played for Maryland ODP. I am currently going into my fourth season of soccer at Goldey-Beacom College after recovering from foot surgery and during the summer I play for the semi-pro team called Delaware Ospreys.

I graduated from Goldey-Beacom College where I was the captain of the Men's Cross Country team. Aside from my time as a runner I am the assistant varsity coach for the boy's basketball team at St. Andrew's High school in Middletown Delaware, and I am the co-director of the MOT Future Stars which is a non-profit youth basketball league located in Middletown Delaware as well. I help organize an event every Fall called "Battle Of The Borders" which is a high school basketball showcase event that raises funds for breast cancer research. Last year the event was located at the 76ers Fieldhouse. I now work at Cedar Lane Elementary in Middletown Delaware where I am the Behavioral Interventionist in an emotional support classroom.

Ryan Drummond is a high school all-American who went on to be a co-captain at the University of Delaware Men's Lacrosse Team. In 2018, he left his job as a VP of Campus Recruiting at JPMorgan Chase & Co. to start The Athlete Book. A company that uses gamification to help college athletes virtually explore employers. During COVID-19, he started a national program, Virtual Recess for Kids Led by College Athletes. Ryan consults with companies like Amazon, Tesla, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. on implementing virtual, athlete-hiring programs. When speaking with college athletes his core message is simple; "Athletes can be our nation's next leaders if they transform their grit into a career path that aligns with their dominant personality traits."
Soccer Coach
I played soccer at and graduated from UNC Charlotte. I went on to play professionally for the Delaware Wizards and earned a Masters in Educational Counseling. I am the Athletic Director at Salesianum School and head coach for the soccer team, where we’ve won 16 state championships in the 18 years and also teach Sports Psychology. I am currently the General Manager for Delaware FC soccer club, which is a non-profit organization that works with over 5,000 players in Delaware and surrounding areas and offers levels from beginners to the top teams in the country. I am married and a proud girl dad to two beautiful girls, Madison and Rebecca.
