Theme: Undotted & Uncrossed | بی نقطه و سرکش

The future feels frustrating, uncertain, and unsafe. From leaders to technologies, we are always in awe for a savior to come and make a better tomorrow. Yet, the way we are approaching the future is broken.

Our future is no different from our past unless we learn to react differently to the events it offers.

As human beings, we are co-writing our collective history as we are living our everyday lives. Yet, it seems that we wrote it so fast that it has been left ”Undotted & Uncrossed.”

In our seventh year of spreading worthy ideas from the heart of Tehran, we chose to rethink our collectively made ”Undotted & Uncrossed” scenarios.

From the main TEDxTehran to our Salones, Youth, and Women events, we will have the same theme in the year 2020 to invite scientists, business leaders, ethnographers, intellects, artists, and futurists to right-click on the ideas that shape our approach to the future.

ناامنی، سرگشتگی و ابهام توصیفی ست از حالی که در مقابل آینده داریم. همواره به دنبال و در تمنای رهبران و دستاوردهایی هستیم که بیایند و ما را نجات دهند و حالمان را عوض کنند. غافل از اینکه طوری که به استقبال آینده میرویم، اشتباه است.

آینده ی ما همان گذشته ی ماست، اگر نتوانیم در واکنشهای جمعی مان به آنچه که زمانه پیش پایمان میگذارد، به صورت عملی تغییراتی ایجاد کنیم.

ما، همه باهم، همینطور که زندگی میکنیم، در حال نوشتن تاریخ روز به روزمان هستیم. اما به نظر، تا به امروز، آنقدر سریع این تاریخ را نوشته ایم که تمام خطوطش «بینقطه و سرکش» باقی مانده است.

در هفتمین سال تلاش تداکس تهران برای گسترش ایدههای ارزشمند، ما به فکر نوشتههایی هستیم که همه با هم «بینقطه و سرکش» باقی گذاشته ایم.

از خود تداکس تهران گرفته تا رویدادهای بانوان و جوانان و سالن که در سال ۲۰۲۰ میلادی برگزار خواهیم کرد، از دانشمندان، رهبران کسب و کار، جامعه نگاران، فرهیختگان، هنرمندان و آیندهپژوهان خواهیم خواست تا بر آنچه آینده ما را شکل میدهد، راست-کلیک کنند.

Arndt Pechstein

Agile Coach, Change Consultant & Business Culture Catalyst

Based in Berlin, Dr. Arndt Pechstein is the founder of the boutique consultancy phi360, chairman of the Biomimicry Academy, as well as agile coach and change consultant working with corporates and SMEs across all sectors. Arndt holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience and has expert backgrounds in Biomimicry, Design Thinking, Agile, Exponential Organizations, and digital business models. Arndt coaches and consults on change & transformation strategies to help organizations in their digital and agile transition and toward resilience & innovative business models. He combines technical and analytical knowledge with human behavior and creative approaches to create sustainable and scalable solutions in a complex, uncertain, and exponential world. Arndt is also an inspiring keynote speaker, advisory board member, and political advisor.

Farinaz Lari

World K-1 Champion

Farinaz picked up kickboxing at the age of 18 while studying applied mathematics in university. She began competing shortly after learning kickboxing. even though she was told she is too old to become a champion, in only a few years she managed to become the first Iranian and Canadian woman ever to win the WAKO world kickboxing championships (Brazil, 2013). She currently holds the national Canadian k-1 title upon many other titles. Farinaz is an entrepreneur, model, public speaker, and a community leader in Vancouver Canada, where it resides now. She spends most of her time learning new and unique training methods to elevate the fitness level of District Warrior, a boutique studio located in downtown Vancouver, which she co-owns with her husband Ali Khanjari. She teaches MuayThai classes, fitness classes and trains her private clients full time at District Warrior.

Farzaneh Ghods

Creative Thinker and Technology Advisor

Farzaneh is a Data Science and AI Technical Advisor at the IBM Watson team. In her career experience at different roles in the industry, she has always focused on bringing new approaches to customers in solving their challenges using technology. She studied Software Engineering and started her career as a software developer. She brings together a combination of her technical and business background with the Design Thinking and Agile approach learned along the way in her startup experiences prior to IBM to help her customers go through their digital transformation. She volunteers with different initiatives inside and outside of IBM including STEM4Girls, Jumpstart Developer Tech Challenge, Women in IBM Networking Group, Women in Tech Sales. She is leading the Next-Gen Innovation Corps volunteer community in IBM Canada to not only bring up the voice of her generation to IBM leadership but also lead this passionate generation to be part of making these changes in IBM Canada.

Rozita Shojaei

Business Consultant

Rozita Shojaei was born in a small city near Tabriz in Iran. At the age of 12, Rozita and her family moved to Germany, studied computer science, and worked successfully as Project Manager and Consultant for digital business for many well-known global companies. She has also been active in learning about psychology alongside her digital business career. This eventually led her profession as a personal development coach. She loves the Persian culture and keeps the connection to her homeland. She travels regularly to Iran and also, passionate about different aspects of Persian culture, for instance, Persian art and poems, folklore music and dances, traditional events like Nowrouz and so on. She sees herself as an ambassador of Persian culture. Her main purpose is to learn and spread the fundamental values of Persian culture as well as contribute to redefine and rebuild these values for the future.
