Allen Asiimwe
Allen is the Chief Technical Officer at
TradeMark East Africa. In this role she
is responsible for the technical delivery of TMEA’s entire project portfolio in
infrastructure, trade environment, and business competitiveness with a budget of
$620m, spanning 12 countries. Allen also oversees the Climate Change and Gender
portfolios and leads collaboration with key stakeholders and development partners,
including the Partner States, FCDO, USAID, the World Bank and the African
Development Bank. Allen also chairs the $24m TMEA Safe Trade Emergency
Facility that was established to respond to and mitigate the impact of Covid-19 on
the region. Prior to this, Allen was a consultant for the African Export Import Bank
supporting the implementation of the Intra Africa Trade Initiative and has served as
past CEO of AVID Development, a consulting firm working on key issues of trade,
development, and governance in Africa.
Allen is also a co-founder of Girls For Girls a global mentoring initiative that seeks
to empower girls to lead. Girls For Girls now has a footprint in 23 countries globally,
7 in Africa with over 2,500 mentees and 1,000 mentors. She holds a Masters
in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School (Edward Mason
Fellow, 2017) and a Masters in International Business Law from the University of
Manchester, UK (1998).
Anne-Margaret Mazzi Wampamba
Margaret-Anne Mazzi Wampamba was
born in Uganda years ago. She is now
a retired civil servant of the United States Government at the National
Science Foundation (NSF). She also worked at other U.S. government
agencies, i.e., Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and the
Internal Revenue Service (IRS). At NSF, she worked with scientists in various
directorates supporting scientific research funding.
Before moving to USA, Ms. Wampamba lived in the United Kingdom where she
did her college education. She also attended college in Paris, France for both
traditional and modern French language. During her retirement she continues
to support those who seek funding for scientific research, especially in materials
science. Her main hobby is writing. She has published 3 children’s books, one
poetry book and her latest novel, The Virgin Journey, which is a trilogy.
Ms. Wampamba is very well travelled all over the world and she enjoys gourmet
entertaining. She loves the arts and thrives on donating her time to the underprivileged
all over the world. She lives in Kampala, Uganda and Northern Virginia,
USA.
Janet Nambi Kiwanuka
Janet Nambi is a transformational life and
business coach at ‘Unconscious Brilliance
by Janet Nambi. She provides a safe space for high achieving women, seeking to
up-level their results at work and at home through managing overwhelm and those
difficult relationships. Janet taps into that brilliance of our unconscious that we
often neglect, not realizing that all our actions or inaction starts with what’s in the
mind. Janet helps clients break through the obstacles that are stopping them from
achieving what they truly desire in life.
Janet is certified through The Life Coach School. She is also a Neuro Linguistic
Programming (NLP) Practitioner and a Mental and Emotional Release (MER)
Practitioner, and a Hypnotherapist certified at Healing With Hind Academy.
Janet’s interest in personal growth begun in 2013 when she certified with Franklin
Covey as a facilitator under NFT Consult LTD.
Prior to finding coaching, Janet co-owned, NFT Consult, the largest recruiting
agency in East Africa, with six locations in the region. But there comes a time when
one finds it necessary to rediscover their passion and for that reason Janet moved
on in 2016. Upon graduating with Honors, with a BA in Finance from Howard
University class of 1997, Janet spent 7-yrs in banking. Janet also holds a Masters
in Telecommunications Management from University of Maryland, University
College, class of 2002.
Janet enjoys reading self-help books, connecting with people of like mind, travelling,
working out and taking care of her family. She is a student of the Arabic language
and enjoys boxing.
Joachim Buwembo
Joachim Buwembo is a media consultant.
Has edited national newspapers in all three
original East African countries and spearheaded the dramatic turnaround of weeks editions in Uganda, before becoming founding editor of The Citizen in Tanzania where he also turned agriculture into a popular media subject.
Margaret Nsibirwa
Margaret is a Management Consultant with over 20 years work experience. She
is passionate about personal development and is active in giving back to the less
privileged.
MIchael Richardson

Michael has been in poultry farming since 1984.
He came to Uganda in 2006 and worked with GM
BUKOMO poultry breeders. Michael is also a consultant and has organized several seminars on poultry breeding. After leaving GM BUKOMO, Michael worked as a farmer to this day
Olivia Nakisita
Olivia Nakisita is a Research Associate in
the Department of Community health and behavioural Sciences at Makerere
University School of Public Health. She has more than 10 years of training,
research, and community service.
She is currently a PhD researcher in Public Health at Makerere University. She
holds a Master of Public Health Disaster; a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences
and, a Diploma in Project Planning and Management all from Makerere University.
She has extensive training in Monitoring and Evaluation, Disaster Resilient
Leadership, Public Health in Complex Emergencies, Micro Planning for Sustainable
Development, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and several other short
courses that enhanced her knowledge and skills.
Her interests are in sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal and newborn
health, urban health, refugees, disaster management, and displaced populations.
Ritah Namayanja Kivumbi
Ritah Namayanja Kivumbi is an Art director/curator at Magezi Arts Exhibition Centre
Rita Namayanja Kivumbi the founder and Art

currently located at the Namirembe Guest House in Kampala. The Centre is a private visual art project whose main goal is not only to collect and preserve a
variety of new and historical art works but also to inspire the youths to take the first
step toward economic empowerment and financial independence. Through visual
art skills, MAEC provides a vital platform to. marginalized groups of people and
individuals including people with disabilities (PWDs), to learn life skills and express
their identity through visual art. The Centre also conducts trainings for the youth
and women groups in various communities on how to earn from visual art. In 2015,
Ritah launched the Art Mirror Magazine, that gives a glimpse into the wonders of
visual art, and also has organized various exhibitions.
Before she lost her eyesight, Ritah worked as the Art Administrator at Makerere
University Art Gallery. She has a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from
Makerere University.
Vivian Kityo
Vivian Kityo is the founder of Wakisa
Ministries. Vivian studied Enrolled Nursing at Nsambya Hospital Uganda and
holds a Diploma in Health Administration and a B.Sc. in Administrative Studies
from Ndejje University. She completed the Women Leadership and Marriage
Counselling Course in Birmingham in the UK in 2003. She is currently pursuing a
master’s degree in counselling psychology at Ndejje University.
Vivian held many leadership positions with the Mother’s Union both at the Ugandan
and International levels. Additionally, she has served on various boards including
Mildmay Uganda and Christ’s hope international.
Her long list of vocational awards includes recognitions from several Rotary
International Clubs, New Vision Women’s Achiever Award in 2014, and both the
Country and Regional Africa’s Most Influential Women Award (Welfare and Civil
Society ) in 2015-2016.
