Sonnu Rehman

A gem by all means, Ms Sonnu Rehman has changed innumerable lives over the years through her dedication and sincerity. She is one of Pakistan’s most eminent educationists and she introduced the parliamentary style of debating in the country.

Sheraz Siddiq

Apart from being a musician, Sheraz is a teacher and a thinker. He fascinates people everywhere he goes; the music that he has produced with Overload has been acclaimed globally, his accounting students love the way he balances work and fun and his peers love the fact that he presents informed, persuasive and convincing arguments in discussions.

Moin Khan

By taking an epic solo motorbike journey from San Francisco to Lahore, Moin has truly changed the way the world looks at Pakistanis. The fact that he continued with his mission despite all the problems that he faced speaks volumes of his greatness as a person.

Shree Bose

Shree Bose is a high-school student, cancer researcher, flute player and was the overall winner of the inaugural Google Science Fair. She is no stranger to TED; she spoke at TEDxWomen and in that talk of hers she told the audience about the project that she made for the Google Science Fair. For her talk at TEDxLACAS, she will be teaming up with her brother Pinaki Bose, who she calls the driving force behind her success.

Mekaal Hassan

The founder, composer and lead guitarist of the Mekaal Hasan Band, Mekaal is a musician at heart — He studied music from the Berkeley College of Music and has profoundly impacted the local music scene.
