She is a Houston native, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from The University of Texas at Arlington, a MS in Technical Communication from North Carolina State University, and currently a postgraduate in Medical Humanities at King's College London in the United Kingdom.
Esther started writing poetry at age 6, partnered with the Greater Houston area Poetry Slam Team, Meta-Four Houston. She published in the World Poetry Movement, Stars in Our Hearts anthology at only 16. She has participated in various national and international poetry slam competitions and presented her research at Oxford University.
Further, Esther believes her life purpose is to create social change and bring awareness to spiritual, political, and international issues by helping others produce stories about the things they see around them.

Jamilla is a nursing student with a special interest in global health. From her nursing and travel experiences she has witnessed a growing concern for the health of communities disrupted by the voluntourism industry. Through campaigning, she has discussed approaches that are more effective and sustainable whilst advocating for people most in need.
