Theme: And now what?

I ara què? (and now what?. The pandemic consequences, climate change, sustainability, etc many changes in our lives that push human beings to think and behave differently. We will have speakers from different fields (such as art, science, agriculture, social media and technology) sharing with us their ideas about "and now what?".

Beatriz Bizot

Béatrice Bizot, French artist born in Milan in 1966, settled in Catalonia since 2004 after traveling between the United States, France and Italy. In 2021, she inaugurated a monumental memorial for the city of Vila-seca, she has two public sculptural installations in Tarragona in the Serrallo area and in the archaeological area of Capçalera del Circ, and a sculpture from 2022 in the washing machines from Montbrion. She has an international tour of exhibitions, and is represented in galleries in Paris, New York and Reus.

Carlos Cuffí

He is a senior engineer in Telecommunications and has developed much of his professional career in business consultancies specializing in management, finance and innovation in companies, leading strategy, transformation and digital business projects. He was director of Digital Transformation at Mobile World Capital, and assumed the direction of the 5G Barcelona project, to turn the city into a hub of innovation in 5G technology. In addition, he was responsible for the National 5G Observatory in collaboration with Red.es and the Secretaría de Estado para el Avance Digital. He joined Cellnex Telecom in 2019 in the global commercial area, and is currently part of the business management team for the UK, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark markets. He also participates as a speaker in executive programs on strategy and digitization

Karim Sabni

He is an expert in migratory movements, especially with the southern border. He has a long career in social initiatives, including Social Project 4.0, a non-profit organization where he works with special attention to the mental health of young people who emigrate alone. He is the current director of the IDÀRIA cooperative, dedicated to job placement - with a social and solidarity economy perspective, for people at risk of exclusion. He is spokesperson for Girona Acull and the Obrim Fronteres Coordinator; two social movements that act to guarantee human rights to all people. Karim participates in talks, presentations and other awareness-raising events about the situation of migrants.

Laia Estorach

Laia Estorach has a degree in Business Administration and Management and is currently the global director of Human Resources at Reckitt, leading the headquarters of the Hygiene business unit, as well as all corporate functions. In 2013, he began his professional career with Reckitt in Barcelona, from where he began his international career through the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. She is an advocate of diversity and inclusion (D&I) and throughout her career has supported different activities in the sector, being also a member of the 'LEAD Network' committee. Laia is an ambassador for 'One Young World' and a mentor for different initiatives such as 'Terra Grata' and 'Eko Group' in Colombia

Long Li

Long Li has been a content creator since the age of 16 and, at just 21, has already become one of the faces best known to young people among the influencers who communicate in Catalan. Mainly dedicated to entertainment, since the age of 14 he has been fighting against cyberbullying with humor in various media and channels very popular among younger people, such as the Adolescents iCat radio program. She has been one of the leading faces of the #1MiliódeVots campaign, which promotes giving the vote to people who, for administrative reasons, do not have the right to vote. He is currently the host of the Twitch channel of the television show called Euphoria, in which he comments on the performances and the best moments

Núria Amigó

Núria Amigó is from Reus and holds a degree in Physics and a PhD in bioengineering. Her professional career has focused on transforming biomarker research into clinical applications in the metabolic disease environment. She is co-founder of the biotechnology company Biosfer Teslab SL., which she has led since 2015. Núria is Principal Investigator of several national and international competitive R&D projects and author of more than 50 scientific publications. Currently, she is an associate professor of biostatistics at the Faculty of Medicine of the URV.

Òscar Saladié

He holds a doctorate in Geography from the University of Barcelona. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Rovira i Virgili University. Since 2007 he has been part of the Territorial Analysis and Tourism Studies Research Group of the URV and previously of the Climate Change Research Group. Since 2012, he has directed the Dow/URV Chair in Sustainable Development. He is part of the research team of the ADAPTOUR project (The adaptability of complex tourists destinations in the present era of social, economic and environmental transformations: innovative paths towards destination resilience).

Silvia Congost

Silvia Congost is an expert psychologist and a national reference in self-esteem and emotional dependence, lecturer, author of 10 successful books and leader in inspirations in social networks and the media. He has twenty years of professional experience in the field of psychology and has his own centers in Barcelona, Girona and Madrid, as well as carrying out online therapy with patients from all over the world, where he and his team have helped thousands of people to strengthen their self-esteem, free themselves from toxic relationships and bet on the life they really dream of. Silvia has developed her own methods which she applies successfully.
