In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Born in Mie, Japan in 1960, mother of two, lives in Monaco. In 2011, her beloved husband passed away and she closed down their clinic. She decided to start over as "a 50-year-old woman by herself", out of despair, and moved from the countryside to Tokyo. She switched her focus from medical treatment to anti-aging beauty treatment and entered the market by advertising herself as an icon of the company. Starting at the bottom, she quickly expanded her business in Japan and to the world, selling 1 million units of her long-selling products in just five years. In 2017, however, illness suddenly struck her, and she underwent eight major surgeries, leading to a grand shift in her way of life and business. She then became a resident of Monaco, achieved by her energetic actions only, from with zero connection and no foreign language ability. Now, as a brand creation producer, she has produced more than 2,000 women business owners and entrepreneurs who were struggling with sales, advocating that "Business era of showing world view rather than winning competition” With a desire to "support women to realize their dreams and leap further", she has been teaching "Flawless Method" where you can learn how to create your own unique worldview and story from your real business.
